AFCON 2019: Black Stars Will Bounce Back And Make Us Proud Again-President Akuffo-Addo

July 8th, 2019(Sunday) was indeed black day for the Black Stars of Ghana as they were suffocated by the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia at the wrap up match of the round of sixteen when they were kicked out of the competition with penalty kicks.

Ghanaians were absolutely heartbroken and expressed their immense disappointment in the referee for partially against Ghana whilst others blamed the entire team over poor performance which resulted in that shoddy results.

As more comments being pertinent to the displeasure, the first man of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, has also shared his take and well wishes to the Black Stars.

According to Mr President, he was likewise extremely disenchanted as his country fell from grace at such an early stage but that’s not the end, there’s still hope for the future.

He expressed that, he’s much confident the Ghanaian national football team will bounce back even stronger to do better and make all Ghanaians proud once again.Over chastising can’t solve the problem now.

In the message on his official twitter page monitored by Rhymezgh.com, he wrote “Like most Ghanaians, I’m gutted by the exit of the Black Stars At AFCON 2019.I wisj the team better luck next time.I am confident they will bounce back even stronger, and make all of us proud once again”

The tournament still continues in Egypt as eight teams, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Senegal, South Africa, Benin, Algeria and Tunisia emerge to the quarter finals stage.
