Self-acclaimed Dancehall king Shatta Wale has turned over a new leaf,smokes peace pipe with Charterhouse several years after being at discord.
The artiste confirmed making peace with the renowned entertainment company on his certified Instagram page stating he is back on track to Ghana Music Awards festival to end the standing standoff with the events outfit, organisers of the annual Ghana Music Awards, to enable him to get nominated for the awards.
The outspoken Shatta Wale and Charterhouse have been at loggerheads after the dancehall artiste accused them of falsely awarding the Raggae/Dancehall Song of the Year to Kaakie at the 2013 edition of the Awards.
He apologised for attacking the organisers in a song as well as social media posts and was accepted in the awards which saw him win the Artiste of the Year the following year.
The relationship between them turned sour again after Shatta Wale, in a series of videos posted on Facebook, to attack the company and its CEO, Iyiola Ayoade. He was subsequently sued for GHS10 million in 2014.
The multiple award-winning artist since the 2014 edition of the awards has never been nominated for the scheme till 2018 that he had several nominations but won best collaboration of the year with his ‘Taking over” song.
An Instagram post by Charles Nii Armah Mensah as known in real life, said he is back on track with the awards company hence his fans should expect more awards this year.

The ‘Kakai’ hit singer has apologized severally on many platforms and registered my readiness to smoke the peace pipe with the event planning firm over the years.
