The trend of the week in Ghana and other parts of the world seems to being all about Ghanaian-born Dancehall gem, Shatta Wale with  real name Charles Nii Armah Mensah.

This comes after his remarkable international feature with American R&B songstress, Beyonce’ Knowles-Carter off her “The Lion King: The Gift” album dubbed “Already” which is currently one of the global enthusiastically praised songs.

Well, to the utmost amazement of many, World Service Of British Broadcasting Cooperation(BBC world service) has commended the self-proclaimed Dancehall king on his achievements to put Africa, Ghana and ‘Afrobeats’ genre to the global mart.

According to BBC World Service, “Afrobeats” has evolved via the lyrical dexterity Ghana’s Shatta Wale which pegs into this genre that inspired Queen Beyonce’ to get him featured on her album.

Beyonce’ curated soundtrack titled “The Lion King: The Gift” features great African musicians like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Save, Shatta Wale, amongst  others
