Ghanaian Dancehall act Shatta Wale who has been widely tagged as the African Dancehall King is making waves in Jamaica.
Following a feature in the Jamaican Star newspaper with his hit single dubbed “ISLAND” produced by Jamaican based records YGF, the song has penetrated to the mainstream market both locally and internationally and have been on rotation in Jamaican music space. The hit single ISLAND debut number 1 on iTunes reggae chart in Ghana. In a review by the ‘Review King’ , he referred to Ghana as the next home of Dancehall due to Shatta Wale’s delivery on the Jamaican produced rhythm.
